Saleda is a multifaceted professional, whose expertise spans the realms of health and wellness, entertainment, and law. She is a creative storyteller and media professional as well as a dedicated health coach and consultant for various clients. Formerly, she practiced law in New York City and Washington, D.C. Saleda is driven by a passion to use her diverse background and experience to advance wellness issues.
Currently Saleda is a television producer and director, having worked for networks such as Hulu, Peacock, OWN, and Bravo. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the success of notable shows, including the "Real Housewives" franchise; "Released," which followed the journey of recently released inmates after serving long prison sentences; the competition show “Inkmasters”; "Lost Resort” which explored healing therapies at a Costa Rican wellness retreat; and “This is Hot 97”, a reality show spoof that took place at the legendary radio show Hot 97. Saleda began her career as a judicial law clerk and then as an entertainment attorney where she counseled clients such as recording artists, music producers, entertainment companies, music publishing companies, and film producers.
Throughout her professional career, a constant through line has been her unwavering dedication to health and wellness. As a devoted caregiver for parents battling prolonged health issues, she intimately understands the challenges of navigating health complexities. Also faced with her own health challenges many years ago, Saleda began her own wellness journey that eventually led her to a path of healing. Alongside her personal journey, Saleda has also actively supported family and friends on their individual journeys towards a more balanced lifestyle. Driven by this passion for holistic well-being, she became a certified integrative health and wellness coach.
Passionate about the intersection of wellness, entertainment and law, Saleda seeks to leverage her diverse background to facilitate meaningful collaborations, initiatives and projects that integrate and unite these distinct realms. In particular, Saleda is dedicated to enhancing the accessibility of wellness resources for individuals and to addressing pressing issues such as health disparities, food insecurity, and the impacts of climate change on food, clean water and air.
Currently residing in New York City, Saleda is a Bronx, New York native. She is a proud graduate of Spelman College and Georgetown University Law Center and she holds a certificate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
